About Me

Hello everyone!

My name is Sadie Robinson and I am a photography student in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I grew up in a small town, in the middle of nowhere, Texas and I try to keep some of the small town feel in my photographs, even if it’s just a small piece.

I’ve always loved photography, but only recently have I discovered that photography is what I want to do with my life. I began at The Art Institute of Dallas and am now at The Art Institute of Virginia Beach majoring in photography and on my way to my dream. Throughout my time at the Art Institute I’ve realized where I want to go with my photography. I’ve come to see that I love ALL types of photography and I now know that I don’t want to be confined to one specific genre or to what other people want me to take pictures of. I want to be able to photograph what I want whether it’s fashion, nature, conceptual, documentary, ANYTHING. I love being able to be as creative as I want with my work. I think this is why I feel drawn toward the fine art side of photography so that I can show the world what I want them to see in my own unique way.
